I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Connally for his excellent work in the parathyroid surgery he performed on me May 14 at Norman Reagional HealthPlex. The surgery and recovery went exactly as he said it would, the scar is small and I am very grateful that I was referred to him. He is personable, professional and my experience with him has been a true blessing. I also want to thank Dr. Connally's staff for the excellent work they did in guiding me through this process. The office staff, RN Susan and, especially, Nurse Jada, who called me frequently, keeping me on schedule, patiently answering my numerous questions. Finally, I want to recognize size the excellent work of the folks at Norman Regional HealthPlex. They were patient, friendly and very professional in shepherding me through the entire process. Thank you, all, especially Dr. Connolly, who made all this possible.

When I needed parathyroid surgery last year, I searched for a surgeon with expertise in that area. After much research, knew that I wanted the minimally invasive surgery so I googled "endocrine surgeon oklahoma city" and Dr. Connally's name popped up. Not only that, he was the only Oklahoma physician who is a member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Was I ever thrilled & relieved! I looked at various reviews of his work (they were all good) and also saw he did the minimally invasive parathyroid surgery. I got an appointment very quickly & after meeting him & his staff, was very impressed. He had specialized surgical training in this area. What a blessing! Surgery was set up & done within about 2 weeks. He did an excellent job! The scar is very small & healed well following his instructions. He has a great personality, very kind, dedicated & compassionate. I highly recommend him & am most grateful for the great job he did. The nursing staff was equally kind & caring. Great group of medical professionals.

I am writing this note to let you know how much I appreciate not just your extraordinary surgical skills (and of those I am a living, breathing example), but also and especially your ability to understand the deep concerns of patient and family and to take the time to allay those concerns with clear and compassionate explanations of process and possible outcomes. To do that in a way that brings comfort and confidence to a patient's family and to the patient himself is truly a rare and wonderful gift.
