Norman Regional makes your surgical experience easier by bringing everything together to one central location—registration, preadmission, presurgical assessments, diagnostic testing, patient education, the Ambulatory Care unit and 21 state-of-the-art operating rooms, two of which are fully dedicated to robotic surgery.

Same Day Surgery
Norman Regional has Same Day Surgery units for procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay. Our team of physicians, nurses and clinician strives for our patients to have a positive visit. Patients may meet with a registered nurse before surgery to answer any questions and gain information about the procedure and the patient’s history. Additional testing may be needed, and can be conveniently done within Norman Regional Hospital or at Norman Regional HealthPlex. There are dedicated waiting rooms for your family and friends to wait during your procedure.
Many of our surgeons specialize in minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

- Financial/Insurance Information: List of insurances we accept. Contact your insurance company to confirm coverage.
- Pre-Operative Instructions (PDF): Routine pre-operative instructions.
- Pre-Admission Patient Form: Pre-admit by filling out the pre-admission form if you are scheduled for a test or surgery. This information goes directly to the Norman Regional Hospital Registration Department and is not sent to the physician's office.
